What is Faith-Based Fitness and Nutrition Coaching?

It is fitness and nutrition coaching that uses principles rooted in Scripture that are backed by science. It is a process that guides you through sustainable changes in your eating and lifestyle habits to support a healthy mind, body, emotions, and spirit with help from an expert coach.

What are Scriptural principles? The fundamental doctrine based on the Bible. These principles can include topics such as sowing and reaping, temptation, gluttony, foods made by God, rest, discipline, and the body.

Why do I need to combine Scripture with the science of fitness and nutrition?

True and lasting transformation only comes with the power of God to change old habits and unhealthy lifestyle patterns to align with His perfect and timeless design. All science supports the truth in Scripture so the two are inextricably interwoven. True health involves the mind, the body, and the spirit.


How is Faith-Based Fitness and Nutrition Coaching different from other fitness and nutrition programs?

Traditional man-made methods of health and fitness separate your physical health from your spiritual. Attempting to achieve health and fitness without God leads to temporary, short term success at best and generally leads to the exhausting repeat-failure-hamster-wheel with the hopes of vibrant health always just out of reach. When you rope off God, you are ultimately living an unhealthy life in a weakened physical body without purpose and passion.

Do I need to be a Christian to participate in the program?

While it is our hope that we can share with you in the joy and fellowship of knowing the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior while also partaking in the gift of eternal salvation, it is not a requirement of this fitness and nutrition program. The principles laid out in Scripture are also backed by science and can transform anyone willing to follow the program and put in the work.

I’m a different religion. Can you change the program to fit my religion?

This program is coached by a Certified Biblical Health Coach and is solely based on the inerrant, unalterable, and timeless Word of God as written in the Holy Scriptures of the Bible.

Is this a Bible study?

No. While we occasionally look at Bible verses and are careful to apply those principles in the correct context as it pertains to physical health, we do not focus on expositing the Scripture. The focus of the program is in coaching you to total mind and body health and wellness through sustainable habit changes as supported by both scripture and science.  We recommend that you join a Bible study at your local church hosted by a qualified Pastor or ministry leader if you want to dive deeper into the Word of the Lord.


Do I have to go to church to join?

It is not a requirement of the program, however, the Word of the Lord commands not to forsake the assembling together (Hebrews 10:25) in worship and therefore, as a part of your spiritual health we recommend that you participate in a local Bible-teaching church. Find one here:
