Your 2021 Health and Fitness Check Up

It’s mid-February. How are your New Year’s resolutions coming along?

You remember, right- those goals you set just 6 short weeks ago? Come on now, you didn’t think I’d forget to check in with you, did you?

I’ll tell you how you’re doing. You are either:

  1. Making progress and moving in the direction of a healthier and stronger body.
  2. Falling off track half the week and not making any significant body changes either way.
  3. Given up on working toward any measurable progress for 2021 since it seems to be a rerun of 2020.

Regardless of where you find yourself on that list, whether 1, 2, or 3, now is the perfect time for an accountability check. If you’ve fallen off track, you can regroup and get back at doing those little daily actions that make you stronger, leaner, and healthier.

If you’re doing well, then maybe now is the time to challenge yourself to move to the next level. Maybe it’s another pant size down or signing up for that half marathon you’ve been putting off or adding one more daily action to the list.

  • They fall down and get up. They focus on their successes, as tiny and hard-won as those successes may be. They forget failures and setbacks, except to learn from them.

Ask these simple questions to assess your own progress:

What has gone well for you in the past month?

What did you do to make that happen?

What challenges did you run into?

What are some daily action steps you can take in the next 30 days to get you closer to your goal?
