“motivFIT training helped tremendously with my strength and overall stamina. I compared my split times from last year’s half marathon to this year’s race and I noticed I kept approximately the same pace as last year until the last 3.8 miles. That’s where I made all the improvement in my time – at the end! I would not have been able to do that unless I had the stamina and strength in order to soldier on! I guess all those lunges and squats really paid off! And I was able to recover quickly and join everyone on the hike the very next day!!
Also, as I was nearing the completion of the race and searching for motivation to keep going, I had to break it down minute by minute – just like our circuit training. And I kept hearing Jeff & Carrie’s voices in my head saying “c’mon, you can do anything for a minute!” – Becky Stanley
