Carrie, Henderson personal trainer and holistic nutritionist, attended Grossmont College in San Diego where she studied health sciences. After spending several years working as an Emergency Medical Technician in San Diego, CA, Carrie saw firsthand how good health could have prevented the majority of illnesses she treated in her ambulance.
In 2003, Carrie traded emergency medicine for preventative medicine and became a nationally recognized Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NSAM) and Certified Fitness Nutrition Coach through the National Endurance & Sports Trainers Association (NESTA).
When I’m not working I love spending time with my best friend, my husband, Jeff.
In 2007, Carrie was recruited by award-winning doctors at Integrative Woman’s Healthcare of Nevada in Henderson, NV to spearhead a program dedicated to educating pregnant women about prenatal and postnatal nutrition and exercise. Carrie was the lead Prenatal Nutritionist for the Platinum Mommies Program in Las Vegas, helping hundreds of women to achieve healthy pregnancies. She continues to consult for IWH as a Diagnosis-Specific Holistic Nutritionist helping women with PCOS, breast cancer, and diabetes to achieve optimal health.
Carrie is also a published author and has written dozens of health and fitness articles. Her specialties include women’s health, holistic wellness, and fitness nutrition. She believes that the body is a gift from God and that we are to care for our bodies in thanksgiving to Him applying the principles given in His Word so that we can in turn glorify Him by living and loving vibrantly in service to others. Carrie lives in Henderson, Nevada with her husband Jeff and 17 year old cat, B.
