"What motivates me -- to be healthy and happy and finding something that is all mine. It has taken me along time to realize that being healthy and active needs to be part of my daily routine. I've tried everything -- and have lived my life with everything and everyone's needs being before my own. My morning workouts or running has become part of me And I have realized they i can give more to others when I am feeling healthy -- which comes from me being active. It has taken me a long time to get here. My advice to anyone starting out is to set goals starting small! Don't expect major changes over night! And being accountable to someone too. If you are expected to workout with someone you are more inclined to not bail as opposed to going to the gym by yourself. Being a part Of MotivFIT is great because I feel accountable and also because I am with a group of great people that encourage and inspire me every day!"

“I had always been an avid exerciser, but often found myself in an exercise rut; I was doing the same workout 4-5 days a week, expecting new results.   A year ago I moved to Ventura and was looking for a workout that was different from the typical gym.  I was also looking to make some new friends, all while toning up for my upcoming wedding.  By the time my wedding day rolled around, my body had changed tremendously; I felt incredible!  I just know it is because we do something different every day in MotivFit.  We are constantly surprising our muscles, so we keep getting results.  A year has passed, and I still look forward to working out with Kristen at the beach every morning.  There is nothing quite like the camaraderie of our morning work out group.  Our coach, Kristen is inspirational, encouraging, and understanding.  She understands that we are all at different levels, and she adapts the workout to each of us.  Kristen has been one of my biggest cheerleaders throughout this past year, and I cannot thank her enough for that.  I look forward to many years with MotivFit!”

Halfdome -4800' in 8 miles and Mt Whitney - 6100' in 11 miles topping out at 14,500'. The group approach was great with lots of encouragement from every class member. With the Motivfit total body workout, I lost 15# in4 months. Those lunges and squats prepared me for what seemed like endless uphill hiking."

motivFIT Testimonials - Before and After PhotosI am very proud that I was able to finish the Disneyland half marathon and also that I beat my time from last year's half marathon! I believe the support and guidance from Jeff & Carrie as well as the rest of the motivfit family pushed me across that finish line!

motivfit training helped tremendously with my strength and overall stamina.  I compared my split times from last year's half marathon to this year's race and I noticed I kept approximately the same pace as last year until the last 3.8 miles.  That's where I made all the improvement in my time - at the end!  I would not have been able to do that unless I had the stamina and strength in order to soldier on!  I guess all those lunges and squats really paid off! And I was able to recover quickly and join everyone on the hike the very next day!!

Also, as I was nearing the completion of the race and searching for motivation to keep going, I had to break it down minute by minute - just like our circuit training.  And I kept hearing Jeff & Carrie's voices in my head saying "c'mon, you can do anything for a minute!"

Thanks for all the support!  On to my next TWO half marathons in the next 4 months!!

motivFIT Testimonials - Before and After Photos"I recently completed 3 months training with motivFIT.  I have lost over 20 pounds and 18% of body fat.  Before I started I was having back trouble and was completely sedentary.  I tried to qualify for life insurance and was quoted an “At Risk” rate for the premiums because of my weight and cholesterol.  Just recently I have retested and qualified for my insurance company’s “Ultra Preferred” rates.  I was shocked at the change in my overall blood work and profile.  It drove home the importance of what I am doing and the results that I am achieving.  I now have more energy than I know what to do with and I am as active as I have been in 20 years.  I am looking forward to each successive session and the resulting benefits that I am experiencing.  Most of my friends and family have noticed the changes and that just helps to confirm my direction.  I am wearing clothes that have been in the back of my closet and I have recently had the satisfaction of having to drill a new notch in my belt.

I show up every day before 6am knowing that what I am about to do is literally changing my life in so many positive ways.
