Is motivFIT for me?
If you can answer "YES" to any of the following questions, then motivFIT is for you.

What do I need to take with me to the motivFIT workouts ?

  • Exercise mat 

  • Hand weights (5-8 lbs for women, 10-12 lbs for men) 

  • Appropriate footwear (runners are best) 

  • Bottle of water

  • Dress for weather conditions (Layer. Hats & gloves in cold months.)

  • Sunscreen in the summer 

  • A winning attitude

What kind of people join the motivFIT?
Great mixtures of people attend motivFIT.  Many people just need a little push to jump start their fitness program; others have a fitness program but are tired of the same old routine & are looking for something fun and different. Some people need to get in shape for an up coming wedding, vacation, reunion, etc... Most of our members have some history of exercise, but it’s not required.  Both novice and veteran exercisers will find our workouts at motivFIT  to be a challenging and fun workout experience.  Remember, all ages (16 and up - with guardian consent) and all fitness levels* are welcome and encouraged! 6 and up - with guardian consent) and all fitness levels* are welcome and encouraged!

* As long as you have a full medical release from your doctor to workout ( this is required if you answer yes to questions 1-7 for your medical history on registration from), with no restrictions, you can attend.  If you are not sure then give us a call.

What is a typical day like at the motivFIT?
That's difficult to say since each day is intentionally different to alleviate boredom. You can expect some light running, hiking, weight training, relay races, obstacle courses, and core training each week. Our workouts always include warm-ups consisting of calisthenics and total body flexibility exercises to prepare your system for the upcoming session.  We conclude each class with stretches and exercises to cool the body down. We teach you a great deal about proper form and core stability.  You will enjoy a unique fitness experience from the top trainers in the industry.  And though no two days are the same, you can count on a few things for certain each day; You’ll have a great workout, you'll always have fun, and you’ll always be happy you came!  

What kinds of exercises are included in the workouts?
Exercises include: body-resistance exercises like lunges, squats, & pushups, core strengthening exercises including multiple crunch variations & isometric abdominal exercises, short distance running, jumping rope, circuit training, hiking, team competitions, medicine ball training, obstacle courses, just to name a few

What if I can't perform a certain exercise?
We will give you modified, low-impact drills as an alternative to strengthen your body so that you will be able to condition weak areas while still participating in the class.

What if I'm not physically fit?
That’s what we’re here for!  NOBODY will be asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. While some exercise experience is helpful, men and women of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate.  We just ask that you give it your all.  Each day will slightly increase in intensity as your fitness levels improve.

Will I be sore sometimes?
Most people feel some soreness for the first 2-3 days. After that point, it is slight to moderate.  It is part of the process that lets you improve!  Be sure to let us know if you are experiencing pain that does not go away after a few days or pain that does not feel like muscle soreness.

Is there a diet program included?
Your welcome packet contains educational information on "clean eating".  Included are 30 delicious recipes designed for each meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks).  Mix and match over 100+ recipes that are healthy and "clean" for your eating pleasure.  This is not a diet!  We are educating you on how to enjoy those delicious meals you already love without all of the junk in them.  For those of you that need more accountability on your daily food choices.  You will receive nutritional guidance and feedback from your fitness coach on your food journals.

What if I miss a workout?
We offer several different classes at  separate times of the day, Monday-Friday. It's your responsibility to make sure you attend the workouts. Similar to enrolling in a course at college, if you miss a class you can not make it up.  It is your responsibility to set your alarm and be on time to class each day. 

Is there a refund policy?
If you are not able to complete the motivFIT fitness program you originally started due to injury OR major illness that keeps you from attending class workouts for 5 or more days
, we can only give you a credit towards the number of workouts you missed or you can make up your workouts. All other reasons and excuses are unacceptable! motivFIT  fees cannot be used towards any other products or services provided by motivFIT. This credit is nontransferable. There is no cash refund. This is not negotiable.***

How soon will I see results?
Performance improvement can take place in as little as three days.  Visual improvement can take from two to four weeks depending on your effort level and your ability to stick to your nutrition plan.  It's not uncommon to see a member go down 1-2 sizes within their first month. Remember, everyone is different!  This is a friendly competition, however, you need to focus on your individual results. 

What about the weather?
We are continually monitoring the weather and will notify you if there are any changes in location or cancellations.  We exercise rain or shine.  Unless you hear from us, motivFIT Workouts are on!  We do have alternative dry workout locations to accommodate for heavy rains.

Will you yell at us? I'm scared!
We only yell motivating, positive affirmations, uplifting quotes, and we convince, not confront. We aim to keep you focused on the task at hand.  Abuse, harassment – we don’t go there, even if you want us to.  If you want verbal abuse, go join a Boot Camp! For positive reinforcement, however, come and enjoy the camaraderie of a competitive group workout with motivFIT.  

What are the available times, locations, and when can I start?
Please visit our motivFIT locations. You can start with us at anytime.  We do not have specific start dates, since our memberships are on going.

Do you offer discounts?
We encourage you to “share the health” by telling your friends and family about  motivFIT.  You can earn $100 credit good for any motivFIT service for each referral that joins us at full price.

* Note: Referred friends must enter your name on their registration form in the "Please specify friend or other referral" field, submit payment, and complete 1 FULL MONTH of your motivFIT memebership  before qualifying as a referral.  Repeat clients, who have previously registered for motivFIT are not eligible as "referred friends." Referral rewards are not paid on promotional discounts.
